IUCN/SSC CAT SPECIALIST GROUP
The IUCN/SSC Cat Specialist Group brings together more than 200 of the world’s leading cat experts, including scientists, wildlife managers and conservationists from 50 countries who are dedicated to advancing the understanding and conservation of the world’s 36 wild living cat species.

IUCN/SSC CONSERVATION BREEDING SPECIALIST GROUP (CBSG)
CBSG’s mission is to save threatened species by increasing the effectiveness of conservation efforts worldwide. For over 30 years, we’ve accomplished this by using scientifically sound, collaborative processes that bring together people with diverse perspectives and knowledge to catalyze positive conservation change.

JV AND THE BIG CATS
Against the backdrop of the dwindling tiger populations in the wilds, Tiger Canyons was established 25 km north west of the town of Philippolis on the Van der Kloof Lake in the Karoo of South Africa. Tiger Canyons is the brainchild of John Varty, a South African conservationist and filmmaker who specializes in Big Cats.

KIDS FOR TIGERS
Kids for Tigers was launched by Sanctuary Asia magazine in the year 2000 as an environmental education programme for schools across India. The programme aims to bring out the vital connection between the survival of the tiger and the ecological security of the Indian subcontinent.

LIONS TIGERS & BEARS
Lions Tigers & Bears is a federally and state licensed non-profit 501(c)(3) rescue facility dedicated to providing a safe haven for unwanted and abused Big Cats and other exotic animals. We are one of very few accredited Big Cat Sanctuaries in the US.

MINNESOTA ZOO
Created by the State of Minnesota, the Minnesota Zoo opened in 1978 with a mission to connect people, animals, and the natural world. Cutting-edge exhibits provide exciting experiences with animals and their habitats introducing guests to species from around the globe.

NATIONAL TIGER CONSERVATION AUTHORITY (NTCA)
The Govt. of India had launched “Project Tiger” on 1st April 1973 to promote conservation of the tiger. Project Tiger has been the largest species conservation initiative of its kind in the world.

NDTV-AIRCEL SAVE OUR TIGERS
NDTV-Aircel Save Our Tigers campaign is a social campaign to create awareness about the alarming state of the tiger in the Country at the moment, encourage tiger conservation and save tigers from extinction.

OAKLAND ZOO
The California-based Oakland Zoo provides support for the Bay Area Puma Project, The Budongo Snare Removal Project, Africa Matters, Wildlife Conservation Society (Asia), Animals Asia, ARCAS and the Bushmeat Crisis Task Force.

PERIYAR TIGER RESERVE
Periyar Tiger Reserve, Thekkady, is an example of nature’s bounty, with great scenic charm, rich bio diversity and providing veritable visitor satisfaction. Sprawled over an area of 925 Sq .km., Periyar is one of the 27 tiger reserves in India.
